How To Troubleshoot Always On VPN
Verifying that Always on is Connect
Wifi Connection Ethernet Connection
If your Always On VPN is showing "Connect" you will need to hit the connect button until it shows "Connected".
Always On VPN Keeps Disconnecting
- On your work computer, navigate to www.speedtest.net/ and click Go. Please share the results with a screen shot and then post the screen shot to this ticket.
- Restart your internet modem and router. (this is not your Centauri equipment this is your home personal router/modem)
- Unplug the power to the router (if you have one)
- Unplug the power to the modem.
- Wait 60 seconds - plug in the power to the modem
- Wait 5-7 minutes
- Plug in the power to the router (if you have one)
- Restart your computer by completing the following steps:
- After completing steps 1-3 please repeat step 1, On your work computer, navigate to www.speedtest.net/ and click Go. Please share the results with a screen shot and then post the screen shot to this ticket.
- If still having issues save the results and open a server request ticket with all of these results. (https://go.centaurihs.com/servicedesk/customer/portal/5 username is Firstname.Lastname password is your Centauri Network Password)
Compass site can't be reached
- On your work computer, navigate to www.speedtest.net/ and click Go. Please share the results with a screen shot and then post the screen shot to this ticket.
Clear your Cache and Cookies by:
- The 3 dots on the top right of Chrome
- Hover over History, then click on History (Or press CRTL+H)
- On the left hand side click on “Clear Browsing Data”
- Select “Advanced” on the top, next to Basic
- Click on the “Time Range” dropdown and select “All Time”
- Only have “Cookies and other site data” & “cached imagine and files” Selected
- Click on “Clear Data”
- Close all Chrome Browsers, reopen it, and try again
- Restart your internet modem and router. (this is not your Centauri equipment this is your home personal router/modem)

- Unplug the power to the modem.
